For parents, teachers & families
Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
Atoria Press, an imprint of DPA-TEAM, LLC, operates the North Pole Academy website at atoriapress.com. This notice explains how information is handled when you explore the Academy, join our adult mailing list, or contact us.
Stories and activities for children
Children can explore the stories, book previews, character directory, tour, and activities without joining a mailing list. Email signup and contact options are for adults. Please do not submit a child’s email address, full name, school, address, photograph, or other private information through these options.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact hello@atoriapress.com so we can investigate and remove it. A parent or guardian may ask to review or delete information about their child and stop further collection.
Quiz and mystery progress
The school-match quiz stores the entered name, answers, and quiz progress in your browser on your device. The book mystery also saves progress in that browser. These features do not send those entries to our mailing list or to Atoria Press. Use a nickname if you prefer. Restart the quiz or clear this website’s browser data to remove saved quiz information; clearing website data also removes saved mystery progress. Printing or saving results creates a copy you control.
Adult email updates
Our optional mailing list requests an adult’s email address for book release announcements, new activities, and occasional Atoria Press news. MailerLite manages the form, subscriber list, confirmation emails, and newsletters for us. Subscription records may include your email address, signup and confirmation times, IP address, and form or device information. You must confirm your subscription by email before receiving newsletters.
MailerLite may record email opens and link clicks to report newsletter performance. Its forms may use cookies or similar browser storage for form operation and reporting. The signup service loads on our launch-updates page when you choose to open the grown-up signup form. It does not receive the quiz’s stored name or answers from our code.
The form uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, which may process device, browser, and interaction information. Learn more in MailerLite’s Privacy Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy, and Google’s Terms.
Contact email and website operation
When you email hello@atoriapress.com, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use Google Workspace to receive messages and reply to inquiries. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to newsletters.
Our website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, and access times to deliver and protect the website. See OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. External destinations, such as a book retailer or email provider, handle information under their own policies when you visit them.
Your choices and retention
Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter to stop updates. You can also email us to request access, a correction, or deletion of information you supplied. We may need to verify that the request is yours. We keep information for the purpose for which it was collected and as needed for records, security, or legal obligations. A minimal unsubscribe record may be retained to prevent unwanted emails. Service-provider backup and deletion schedules may differ.
Subscriber and inquiry information is used to provide the services described here, rather than sold or rented as a mailing list. Service providers process information to operate these services; information may also be disclosed when legally required. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
